Your photo. Your metal portrait.
How to choose photos, review your quote and approve your artwork.
What we make
We turn your reference photos into a recognisable illustrated portrait, engrave the detail and cut around its outline. The backing stays solid inside the silhouette. People, pets and groups are welcome. Each composition is assessed individually.
Read the transformation examples
Browse People, Pets, Groups, Families, Cats and Pet pairs on our portrait page to follow the same subjects from a reference photo to the converted artwork and a finished-metal visualisation. The example photos are AI-created; the metal views are visualisations, not photographs of manufactured pieces. In the stencil conversion, black detail is engraved and the red outer line shows where the silhouette is cut. The metal inside that outline stays solid. Families and pet pairs share one connected backing, with each person or pet kept recognisable.
Your photos receive their own composition and workshop review. Your quote confirms the material and finish, and you approve your personalised artwork before manufacture.
Choose clear photos
Use good lighting, visible facial features and the full head or ears in frame. Avoid heavy filters and motion blur. You can provide separate photos for a group. Upload one to five JPEG, PNG or WebP images, each up to 10 MB; convert HEIC images before uploading. You must have permission to supply the photos and request portraits of anyone shown, including guardian permission for children.
Quote and payment
Submitting photos is free and does not require an account. We’ll confirm the composition, finished height, material, finish, mounting, quantity, revision scope and lead time. Your complete quote includes artwork preparation, manufacture and delivery, in Australian dollars including GST. Pay your accepted quote securely online before we prepare personalised artwork.
Review your private proof
We use AI-assisted illustration with workshop review to prepare the artwork. When it’s ready, we’ll email a private link to a reduced-resolution, watermarked proof. Check the likeness and composition, then approve that exact version or describe your changes. Each new version needs fresh approval. The watermark won’t appear on the finished portrait. Production files stay with the workshop.
Keep your link private. It expires after 30 days; reply to our email for a new one if needed. The proof image itself uses a short-lived link, so reload the page if it stops displaying. After approval, contact the workshop promptly about further changes; changes may no longer be possible once production starts.
Manufacture and your photos
We check the approved files before releasing them for manufacture. Your uploaded photos and artwork are private and are not automatically added to our gallery or marketing. If an upload is interrupted, check your connection and submit again. Abandoned uploads are cleaned up after 24 hours. Contact us if you need help with your photos or want to request their deletion.
